Efficiency is the least interesting thing AI can do.
Parable Labs partners with senior leaders to find the growth opportunity hiding beyond the efficiency play — and build it before someone else does.
Work With Us Leadership IntensiveThat wasn't efficiency. That was a window.
You pulled something into an AI tool and did in ten minutes what used to take a week. That wasn't efficiency. That was a window into a completely different way of operating — and then you went back to your regular Tuesday.
That gap between what you glimpsed and what your organization is actually doing? It's not a technology problem. It's a leadership problem.
Most of what your organization does every day isn't work — it's work-shaped work: the 14-page reports, the approval chains, the meetings to coordinate people who no longer need coordinating. AI doesn't replace your people. It eliminates the organizational overhead that existed because humans needed it. Past tense.
It's building things that weren't possible before.
The real opportunity isn't doing the same things faster. It's building things that weren't possible before.
New markets. New models. New ways of creating value. The leaders who see this first will build it first.
We don't advise from the outside. We partner from strategy through implementation.
Parable Labs is an AI-native firm. The architecture, workflows, and knowledge systems we run on are the same ones we help our clients build.
See clearly.
We map your organization's real value creation against the overhead that coordinates it — and identify where AI unlocks entirely new capabilities, not just faster versions of old ones.
Build it.
We work alongside your team to design and implement AI-native workflows, knowledge systems, and operating models. Not a deck. Not a workshop. Working systems.
Lead it.
We develop your senior leaders' capacity to drive AI transformation themselves — so the change outlasts the engagement.
Parable Labs works with a small number of organizations at a time. If you're thinking about what AI transformation actually looks like — let's talk.
The Art of the Possible
A hands-on intensive for leaders who refuse to delegate their AI mastery.
You know AI matters. You know you're behind. And you're not going to ask your IT department to fix it.
This is a cohort-based intensive for senior leaders who want to close the gap between what they've glimpsed and what their organization is doing — personally, not by committee.
A map of the real work.
You'll separate your organization's actual value creation from the work-shaped work that surrounds it. Most leaders have never done this honestly. It changes what you think AI is for.
A daily AI practice.
Not prompt engineering — a practice. You'll use AI as a thinking partner, a stress-tester, a builder. The skill is integration, not mastery of any single tool.
Cognitive sovereignty.
The most dangerous sentence in enterprise AI is "the AI just gets me." You'll learn to recognize the sycophancy mirror — when the tool flatters your thinking instead of sharpening it. This is the skill nobody else teaches because it's bad for their business model.
A transformation vision that's yours.
Not a certificate. A specific, grounded vision for what AI makes possible at your organization — beyond the efficiency play.
Who this is for: Senior directors, VPs, C-suite, and founders who need to be the AI leader in their organization, not hire one.
Apply to join a cohort: Spring 2026. Small group. Live and interactive.
The team
Monifa Porter
Founder & CEOI've been building AI products and championing the growth that AI unlocks since 2023 — inside Mach49, inside our client venture building efforts, and in the rooms where smart, accomplished people are quietly trying to figure out what it means for their work and their identity. After 25 years of building products in Silicon Valley, launching startups inside large corporations, and helping leaders find the growth opportunities they're missing, I can tell you: the technology is never what's stuck. The people are.
I co-built the venture building methodology that Mach49 used to launch new businesses inside Schneider Electric, Shell, Hines, and dozens of other Global 1000 companies. I've been working at the intersection of AI and product strategy since before anyone was calling it that — I hold an NLP patent from 2012. I guest lecture on Product Management at Stanford GSB, where I earned my MBA.
I built the thing I teach. Parable Labs runs on the same AI architecture, workflows, and knowledge systems I help clients build. Not as a demo. As the actual operating system of the firm.
If you're the leader who's glimpsed what's possible and wants to close the gap — not by hiring a team, but by becoming the person who leads the change — that's who I built this for.

Operations & DeliveryI've spent 15+ years leading product teams across energy, fintech, agriculture, and corporate innovation — from Opower to Capital One, Granular/Corteva, and Mach49, with an MBA from Tuck along the way. The through-line has always been the same: using technology to solve problems that actually matter to people, from machine learning on satellite imagery to the AI-first products I build today.
For the past four years I've been building AI-first products and coaching senior leaders through their own AI transformations. Not from a whiteboard — by doing the work. I've shipped products to the App Store, built AI platforms from scratch, and helped executives move from "I should be using AI" to actually leading with it.
The thing I keep coming back to is that AI isn't just a tool. It's a teammate — one that's extraordinarily capable but requires the same direction, judgment, and iteration you'd bring to any high-performing collaborator. The leaders who figure out how to work with AI, not just deploy it, are the ones who'll build what comes next.
Parable Labs.
Octavia Butler reminds us that the only constant is change. The organizations that survive the next decade won't be the ones that optimized the fastest. They'll be the ones that adapted — who reimagined what they were for.
Let's talk about what's possible.
Whether you're exploring AI transformation for your organization or interested in our leadership intensive, we'd like to hear from you.
We review every inquiry. If there's a fit, we'll be in touch within a few days.
